For this week’s edition of Wayfarer I decided to profile another co-worker of mine, because really, what better place for me to source Wayfarers than direct from the travel industry. Everyone, meet Rachel — my colleague of three years and go-to girl for a date at our neighbourhood sushi restaurant.
Rachel may be tiny (I’m at least a foot taller than her), but she’s boisterous and adventurous. She also has a penchant for getting her picture taken while jumping in front of landmarks (my absolute favourite picture of her is the one in Grand Central Station below…it’s so awesome).
What countries have you visited? Belgium, Canada, China, Cuba, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Peru, Switzerland, the UK, USA, and Vatican City.
What is your favourite place to visit? Germany and Italy
What’s one thing you’ve learned from your travels? Being able to travel is a gift that not many people get. Seeing and experiencing different things is worth more than any material things out there. As what they say “Pictures don’t do it justice”
What’s one thing you must always bring with you on a trip? A camera.
What are the top three destinations on your travel bucket list? Australia, Thailand, Vietnam
What’s the craziest thing to have happened to you while on a trip? Almost getting kidnapped in China…so we thought…
